Challenge Tauranga Taupo Service Station
Our small rural service station has grown from the old hand pumps to today's modern standards, We have been running it since 2004 and our shop is well stocked with to suit the needs of local residents, travellers, campers and holiday makers. The takeaways we offer in the evenings are very popular between 5pm and 8.15pm.
Campervans are welcomed to fill with water and get their gas bottles filled.
We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners, MTA vouchers/Gift cards, Contact/Rock gas cards, Challenge, Farmlands and Caltex fuel cards and Card link.
We support the Didymo program to prevent it from getting into our water ways, further information on Didymo can be found on Facebook.
We also collect empty drink cans; the money raised from recycling these goes towards the protection of bird life from pests in the area.
As stockist of motor and marine batteries, all old batteries are kept for the Lions charity Club who send them for recycling to raise funds for their community. We also sponsor local fishing competitions.
We keep our fuel prices the same as major towns and we are members of the MTA.
We believe if you support the community they will support your business.
